Sun, summer mood, beautiful and sporty cars - that is AROMS - Alfa Romeo Owner Meeting Summer - our annual meeting, this year on 6th of August in Kuldiga, Latvia.
This is the Olympic year, that is why in AROMS we will not only drive our Bellas, but will as well run, jump, have some tournaments and be active in many other ways.
Agenda
- 11:00 we meet in Kuldiga, Latvia, register and have some talk with other Alfisti (exact meeting place will be sent out to participants prior the event);
- 12:00 tourism part starts - get to know Kuldiga and its surroundings
- Sport and other activities
- Joint Alfisti dinner
- Results, winners and prizes;
- Dancing and talking till the morning.
- 7th of august: slow wake up and relax in the beach at the lake
What You need to participate:
- Your Alfa Romeo vehicle
- Pen and photo camera (phone camera will be fine)
- Not mandatory - but could help You - cell phone with internet
- Team consisting of at least two members
- Clothes suitable for active/sporty activities
- Swimsuit or other clothes that are OK to get wet
Registration and participation fees
Till 31st of July:
- 50 EUR for one person with overnight in well-maintained double room (there are 10 rooms available)
- 35 EUR for one person with overnight in lower comfort, 5 bedding places camping cottage (one room with 2 two level beds, WC and shower available in the service building);
- 25 EUR for one person with overnight in the tent, car or reed..
- Participation fee should be paid at the gathering in Kuldiga in the event day
Starting from the August 1, participation fee increases by 10 EUR
One team from all registered will win a 50 EUR gift card from Autofficina in Latvia or Lithuania
Do not hesitate to take Your kids and ladies with You - event will be interesting for everybody.
AROMS is for free for kids, that do not need a bed in a room.
Registration fee includes - participation in the event, overnight, dinner. To register, please fill in the registration form, or send information about Your team to the e-mail aroms2016@gmail.com (team name, team vehicle, vehicle number plate, preferred overnight option, number of people in your team).

Everything with Aroms2016 is going on smoothly. We have the whole picture, some assignments have been already tested.
We have been in our camping, nice place, responsive host - everything You need for a good party! Only, if You choose a separate room, hurry up, because part of the rooms are closed type, the other part is open (walk through) type. Both type rooms are still available (http://www.alfaclub.lv/portal/?page_id=81)
Here are some questions, we have received and our answers:
• Is it going to be hard? You will have an opportunity to choose the level of assignments. There will be such, where You will have to think, and those where You will have use Your strength. But, the crews with children will have an opportunity to choose easier assignments. Some luck could also help You, so everyone can win! If You use instragram, follow our account to find some tips and other interesting information.
• Do I have to take sandwiches with me? No, those will get bad in Your car!! Kuldiga is pretty large city, it has food stores, pubs and even some Latvia top20 restaurant. And we will feed You, You will get some soup somewhere between 16:00 and 17:00, then some grilled goods in the evening and another soup made on wild fire, the next day. So, 3 meals from us!!
• Can we take kids with us? Yes, it is even recommended to take them with You. After You reach Kuldiga, You will have to sit in the car quite a few times. When You make Your registration, please write, how many and how old kids You will have with You, so for us it will be easier to prepare.
• I like fishing, will there be such an opportunity? Yes, quite much time we will spent at the lake, and we will even have 5 boats. But You will have to have a Latvian standard fishing license and special for the lake we will be. The standard one You can by in the internet or largest wishing stores in Latvia, the special one You will be able to buy at the camping place.
